Dr. Mary Jo Stine awarded with Edwin L. Gresham Award

The Indiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (INAAP) recognized the tireless efforts of HealthNet Southeast Health & Dental Center pediatrician Mary Jo Stine, M.D., M.P.H., at the INAAP’s Annual Business Meeting and Luncheon, which was held May 30, 2013 in downtown Indianapolis.

Each year, INAAP members nominate individuals from around the state who have contributed significantly toward the health and safety of the children of Indiana.  Dr. Stine was awarded INAAP’s 2013 Edwin L. Gresham Award. This award is given annually to a pediatrician in recognition of his or her efforts to advance the care of newborn infants. After the death of Ed Gresham, the Father of Neonatology in Indiana, INAAP thought it fitting to recognize those individuals who made significant contributions in perinatal medicine.

Dr. Stine has been with HealthNet for 34 years.

Dr. Stine has been my daughter’s pediatrician from day one. She is amazing! I didn’t have picked a better pediatrician than her. Congratulations, Dr. Stine!
