Background information: In December 2012, a renovated Blockbuster Store at 6029 West 10th Street, became home to HealthNet’s newest health care facility –HealthNet West Health Center. This current 4,500 square foot center is offering adult primary care, pediatrics and OB/GYN services, social work services, and integrated behavioral health ~ in a community that was struggling with a decrease in access to medical care.

Within the first few months of operation, the center is already vastly exceeding visit projections, and plans are under way to add a Women’s Health area by renovating the remaining 2,000 square feet to include 8 additional exam rooms.
